Job Title: Installation Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Installation Coordinator to join our team at the University of Ottawa. As an Installation Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the installation of events and services on campus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the installation of events and services on campus, including room reservations, equipment setup, and logistical arrangements.
  • Work with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and provide recommendations for event planning and execution.
  • Develop and manage event budgets, including cost estimates and financial reports.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including building services, protection, and parking, to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with campus events and services, and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary degree in event management, hospitality, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in event coordination or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in computer software and systems, including event management software and spreadsheets.
