Educational Facilitator for Adult Learners

Northern Lights College is seeking an experienced instructor to facilitate the Career and College Preparation program. This temporary appointment will be comprised of 8 hours per week, worked Monday to Thursday, 11:45am - 1:15pm, from October to February.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering study blocks on the Fort St John campus, spanning the Adult Basic Education curriculum equivalent to Grades 8-11. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the College Pension Plan, with employer matching.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and intermediate skills with the MS Office Suite. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to student motivation and success are essential. A Master's Degree, credential in Adult Education, and experience instructing a culturally diverse group of students are preferred.

The estimated salary for this position is $47.83 - 56.75 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Temporary employees receive an additional $0.50 per hour in lieu of benefits, 6% vacation pay, and 4.2% statutory holiday pay. The position is unpaid during the period of campus closure between Christmas and New Year's Day.
