Job Title: Mechanical Site Superintendent

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Site Superintendent to join our team at Harbinger Network Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all activities on site and supervising field personnel to ensure successful project completion on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Site Coordination: Supervise and coordinate daily work activities for multiple job sites, ensuring efficient and effective project execution.
  2. Team Management: Assist Project Managers, Coordinators, Field Operations Manager, and the Vice President, Operations with daily management activities, including staff supervision and coordination.
  3. Subtrade Coordination: Coordinate work activities with subtrades, ensuring seamless integration and timely completion of tasks.
  4. Client Communication: Coordinate work activities with clients, maintaining open and transparent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  5. Staff Supervision: Oversee, manage, and coordinate Assistant Site Superintendents and Construction Assistants, providing guidance and support as needed.
  6. Site Meetings: Attend site meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
  7. Cost Management: Assist with managing and controlling costs for the project related to sub-contractors, suppliers, and manpower, ensuring fiscal responsibility and accountability.
  8. Manpower Tracking: Track daily, weekly, and monthly manpower, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  9. Safety Compliance: Complete required safety paperwork daily, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  10. Project Schedule: Monitor project schedule and manpower for delays, taking proactive measures to mitigate risks and ensure timely completion.
  11. Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance of the installation with specifications for all trades, maintaining high-quality standards throughout the project.
  12. Crew Support: Be available for and check up on crews working weekends or after hours, providing support and guidance as needed.
  13. Request for Information: Submit requests for information to Project Managers when required by the foreman or unclear documentation.
  14. Deficiency Correction: Ensure deficiencies are corrected as soon as possible for all trades, maintaining a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
  15. Client Relationships: Develop relationships with our clients for future business, ensuring a strong and lasting partnership.
  16. Site Safety: Ensure sites are safe and owner property/valuables are protected from damage, maintaining a safe and secure work environment.
  17. Site Cleanliness: Ensure sites are clean and tidy at the end of each shift, maintaining a professional and respectful work environment.
  18. Compliance: Enforce staff and subtrade compliance with company policies, owner policies, Ontario Health and Safety Act, and other legal requirements.
  19. Additional Responsibilities: Assist on site by providing labor to complete tasks/projects as required, and assist in ensuring projects are closed out and fully completed as fast as possible.
