About Pho River Front

We are a dynamic and growing restaurant company seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Pho River Front. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement new menu items and specials to drive sales and customer satisfaction
    • Source high-quality ingredients and suppliers to maintain consistency and quality
  • Team Management
    • Lead and motivate a team of cooks and kitchen staff to achieve high standards of food quality and presentation
    • Provide training and coaching to ensure staff are equipped to handle menu items and kitchen operations
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels and ordering to minimize waste and optimize stock levels
    • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Food Safety and Quality
    • Ensure all food is prepared and handled in accordance with food safety regulations and company standards
    • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure food meets company standards
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in culinary arts an asset
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in a senior kitchen role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Proven leadership and management skills, with ability to motivate and train staff
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to troubleshoot and resolve kitchen operations issues
