Overview
CAN-NP-Serv is an NP-led organization that focuses on delivering clinical value to customers while elevating the NP role in the context of higher wages, autonomy, full scope practice and improved overall conditions and terms.
We are currently seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chronic disease management and geriatric care.
Salary
The salary for this position ranges from $75.00-$80.00 per hour.
Job Description
As a Nurse Practitioner with CAN-NP-Serv, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to long-term care residents. You will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to manage stable complex chronic co-morbidities and provide education to clients and staff.
You will also be involved in quality improvement initiatives and participate in care conferences. This is a 70% clinical and 30% quality improvement, education, and leadership role.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Completion of a recognized Nurse Practitioner program
- Current extended class certification with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Experience with chronic disease management and geriatric care
- Current vulnerable sector police check
- COVID vaccination
