About the Role:

This position involves providing psychological assessments, treatment, psychotherapy, treatment planning, and consultation services to patients and their families. As a Senior Mental Health Specialist, you will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans that align with best practices and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting clinical interviews and administering assessment instruments
  • Determining appropriate interventions and developing treatment plans
  • Collaborating with the multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive care
  • Providing input on psychological factors influencing client treatment planning and outcomes
  • Supervising psychometrists, provisional psychologists, and/or masters level psychology students

Requirements:

A Master's degree in Psychology from an accredited university program and active registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists are essential qualifications for this role. Experience working in a mental health setting and knowledge of best practices in assessment and treatment are also highly valued.

Salary:

$80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
