Job Title: Medical Secretary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Secretary to join our team at the Niagara Regional Medical Clinic. As a Medical Secretary, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic, providing exceptional patient care, and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate patient appointments, schedules, and medical records
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail and electronic communications
  • Prepare and maintain medical reports, charts, and other documents
  • Provide administrative support to healthcare professionals, including data entry and record-keeping
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of medical forms and reports
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion
  • Develop and implement efficient office procedures and systems
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in a medical or administrative role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems
