Purchasing and Inventory Management Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing and Inventory Management Coordinator to join our team at New-Firmus Contracting BC Inc.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and organize operational logistics to ensure efficient supply chain management
- Reconcile and revise material requirements for production, construction, and other projects
- Track and complete work orders, ensuring timely delivery and quality control
- Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to optimize workflow
- Monitor and manage the movement of supplies and materials between departments
- Prepare and submit reports to stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement
- Arrange for maintenance and repair work, ensuring equipment is in good working condition
- Ensure proper functioning of equipment and machinery
- Organize and maintain inventory, including receiving, storing, and issuing materials
- Supervise and coordinate the work of other team members, providing guidance and support as needed
- 1-2 years of experience in purchasing, inventory management, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in database software, spreadsheet, and MS Office applications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities
