Purchasing and Inventory Management Coordinator

New-Firmus Contracting BC Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing and Inventory Management Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and organizing operational logistics, revising material requirements, and coordinating activities with other work units or departments.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and organize operational logistics of the organization
- Revise type and quantity of materials required sent for production, construction, and other projects
- Track and complete work orders
- Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
- Monitor movement of supplies and materials between departments
- Prepare and submit reports
- Arrange for maintenance and repair work
- Ensure proper functioning of equipment
- Organize warehouse and work areas
- Co-ordinate traffic flow of supplies
- Prepare and maintain progress and other reports
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
- Keep track of shipments
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Supervise other workers
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a related field
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
