Home Health Care Nurse

We are seeking a licensed practical nurse to provide high-quality nursing care to our clients in their private residences. As a Home Health Care Nurse with SafeCare, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
About the JobThis is a permanent position requiring 20-40 hours per week. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, combining sitting, standing, and walking. If you are reliable, adaptable, and possess excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Ensure infection control practices conform to policies and regulations.
- Monitor vital signs and respiratory therapy.
- Provide personal care, including bathing and skin care.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
- Plan physiotherapy programs for patients.
- Monitor health care programs and instruct patients on oral hygiene.
- Co-ordinate laundry services and maintain food safety standards.
- Assist patients with exercise and light cleaning duties.
- Administer first aid in emergency situations.
- CPR and First Aid Certificates.
- Eligibility for licensure as a practical nurse in your province or territory.
- A valid driver's licence and own vehicle.
- Criminal record check and immunization records.
- Competitive salary: $45,000-$65,000 per year.
