Job Title: Banquet Server

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Banquet Server to join our team at Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited. As a Banquet Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience, and contributing to the success of our events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Set up and maintain banquet facilities, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment.
  • Accept payments and balance float, maintaining accurate records.
  • Satisfy guest requests and provide solutions to any issues that may arise.
  • Work collaboratively with the events team to ensure seamless execution of events.

Requirements:

  • Previous food service and cash handling experience is an asset.
  • Pleasant and outgoing personality, with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle large volumes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly during a shift.
  • French language skills (verbal and written) are an asset.
