Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Banquet Server to join our team at Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited. As a Banquet Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, preparing and serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service breakfast, lunch, and dinner to banquet functions and events
  • Prepare food and beverages and maintain presentation in Entertainment Centre, Concession, and Banquet facilities
  • Set up Banquet facilities for a variety of functions and events
  • Accept monies for items sold and balance float
  • Satisfy guest requests
  • Provide superior customer service to internal and external customers
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Previous food service and cash handling experience an asset
  • Previous concession experience including back-stage catering, meeting set-ups, and coffee break service is an asset
  • Pleasant and outgoing personality
  • Able to handle large volume in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly during a shift
  • French language skills (verbal and written) are an asset
