Job Summary:


We are looking for a professional with excellent project management skills, a strong understanding of housing development and a passion for making a difference in our community.


The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of the Town's Strategic Housing Plan, coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring that initiatives are completed on time and within budget.


Main Responsibilities:



  • Schedule and coordinate meetings with partners and stakeholders
  • Promote housing development opportunities
  • Provide expertise and guidance on housing development matters
  • Liaise with Housing NWT and other organizations
  • Develop and implement a financial plan
  • Manage project timelines and budgets
  • Establish and chair the housing committee
  • Support the Social Issues Committee

Requirements:


To be successful in this role, you will require:



  • A post-secondary degree in business administration or a related field
  • Three years of experience in project management, preferably in the field of housing development
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of construction, housing development, and local government functions
  • Working knowledge of applicable bylaws and regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software

What We Offer:


We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
