About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Professional to join our team at CL Chartered Professional Accountant Ltd. as a Bookkeeper.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and financial statements, using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Payroll and Taxation: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, prepare tax returns, and ensure compliance with relevant tax laws.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports, including trial balances and reconciliations, to support business decision-making.
  • Accounting Software: Utilize accounting software to manage financial transactions, track expenses, and maintain accurate records.
  • MS Office and Excel: Proficiently use MS Office and Excel to create and manage financial reports, spreadsheets, and presentations.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a related field, such as accounting or finance.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
