About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Professional to join our team at Vector Advisors Inc. as a Bookkeeper. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP and tax laws.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Office. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Office environment with regular working hours.
  • Physical Demands: Prolonged periods of sitting and computer work. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
