About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Professional to join our team at Sukhpreet Bal, Chartered Professional Accountant Inc. as a Bookkeeper.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and financial statements, using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Payroll and Taxation: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, prepare tax returns, and ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts and ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
  • Financial Analysis: Prepare trial balance of books and provide financial analysis and recommendations to management.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Skills: Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Work Environment: Willing to relocate and work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
