Position Overview

A Technical Support Specialist is responsible for providing expert technical support to customers in the areas of phone support, training, installation, and technical sales support. This role requires a strong focus on customer satisfaction, task-oriented approach, and ability to deliver timely results quickly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Pre-sales activities include analyzing customer's technical needs and suggesting solutions.
  2. Explore, identify, and develop new application areas as well as developing existing areas.
  3. Post-sales activities include resolving implementation problems and conducting training.
  4. Analyze customers' technical needs, develop proposals outlining how the organization's products and services can meet these needs and be integrated with the customer's existing systems and equipment.
  5. Respond to more complex technical questions regarding the organization's product, system, or service.
  6. Develop and deliver training to educate internal and external partners and customers on the features of their purchase.
  7. Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve technical problems that arise during or after implementation.
  8. Develop test applications used for testing modules, including customer-specific components.
  9. Liaise with hardware, software, and systems design engineers to ensure that products and services are modified, configured, and installed per customer needs.
Required Attributes and Skills Include
  1. Mechanical and/or manufacturing engineering experience, with a focus in CAD/CAM, sheet metal fabrication, or steel plate processing, and CNC programming (familiarity with G-code).
  2. An Associate or Bachelor degree in computer science, IT, or other technical field is preferred.
  3. Fluent Chinese.
  4. Good English language skills would be of advantage.
  5. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  6. Enthusiastic and positive attitude.
  7. Ability to work independently and meet multiple deadlines.
  8. Strong problem-solving skills.
  9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows.
  10. SQL database experience is a plus.
  11. Ability to travel.
