About the Role:

The University of Toronto is seeking a highly skilled Systems Support Representative to join our team in the School of Graduate Studies. As a key member of our support team, you will provide user support and training to staff and graduate students using our student and applicant related applications and databases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide frontline technical support to users of our applications and databases.
  • Train end-users on procedures and the use of supported IT systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Coordinate program schedules with stakeholders.
  • Ensure that procedures and/or guidelines are followed.
  • Apply established standards when providing database access to users.
  • Run queries to gather data and generate reports.
  • Handle sensitive and/or confidential information.
  • Analyze service delivery and/or internal processes and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain information on digital platforms.
  • Create and edit support documentation.
  • Serve as a technical resource on hardware and software related issues.

Requirements:

  • Diligent and organized individual with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with IT systems and databases.
