Student Systems Support Specialist

About the Role:
The University of Toronto is seeking a highly skilled Systems Support Representative to join our team in the School of Graduate Studies. As a key member of our support team, you will provide user support and training to staff and graduate students using our student and applicant related applications and databases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide frontline technical support to users of our applications and databases.
- Train end-users on procedures and the use of supported IT systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Coordinate program schedules with stakeholders.
- Ensure that procedures and/or guidelines are followed.
- Apply established standards when providing database access to users.
- Run queries to gather data and generate reports.
- Handle sensitive and/or confidential information.
- Analyze service delivery and/or internal processes and recommend improvements.
- Maintain information on digital platforms.
- Create and edit support documentation.
- Serve as a technical resource on hardware and software related issues.
Requirements:
- Diligent and organized individual with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with IT systems and databases.
