Job Summary

This is a full-time term contract position that will last for one year. As an MBA Student Experience Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the student experience of a section of students in the Morning and Evening MBA program. This includes providing academic advising, program supports, and ensuring successful program matriculation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Acting as the first point of contact for program-related enquiries
  • Advising students on program and/or course matters by providing options and consequences incorporating personal circumstances impacting academic success and an understanding of an individual's background
  • Probing for information from students to identify learning and performance needs
  • Developing student assessment plans to support student learning outcomes and competencies
  • Assessing and determining benchmarks and metrics for student success programming activities
  • Developing components of programs and initiatives that advance program objectives
  • Fostering positive relationships with campus community
Requirements
  • Master's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
  • Minimum four years working in student support services
  • Experience in Student academic advising
  • Event planning for virtual and in-person events for large and small groups (from 5 to 300)
  • Excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in software such as MS Office suite, AirTable, Zoom and MS Teams with a keen interest in technology for student supports
  • Demonstrated experience with ROSI, CRM and other records management systems
  • Experience managing a range of stakeholder groups including faculty, staff and students while balancing different needs and priorities
Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $90,056 per annum, with annual step progression to a maximum of $115,169.
