Job SummaryThis is a full-time term contract position that will last for one year. As an MBA Student Experience Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the student experience of a section of students in the Morning and Evening MBA program. This includes providing academic advising, program supports, and ensuring successful program matriculation.
Key Responsibilities- Acting as the first point of contact for program-related enquiries
- Advising students on program and/or course matters by providing options and consequences incorporating personal circumstances impacting academic success and an understanding of an individual's background
- Probing for information from students to identify learning and performance needs
- Developing student assessment plans to support student learning outcomes and competencies
- Assessing and determining benchmarks and metrics for student success programming activities
- Developing components of programs and initiatives that advance program objectives
- Fostering positive relationships with campus community
- Master's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
- Minimum four years working in student support services
- Experience in Student academic advising
- Event planning for virtual and in-person events for large and small groups (from 5 to 300)
- Excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in software such as MS Office suite, AirTable, Zoom and MS Teams with a keen interest in technology for student supports
- Demonstrated experience with ROSI, CRM and other records management systems
- Experience managing a range of stakeholder groups including faculty, staff and students while balancing different needs and priorities
The estimated salary for this position is $90,056 per annum, with annual step progression to a maximum of $115,169.
