About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Planning Coordinator to join our team at Dentsu Media. As a key member of our media planning team, you will play a critical role in the day-to-day tactical management of communications planning processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Media Strategies: Assist media planners in the development of media strategies and tactical POV's that align with client goals and objectives.
  • Ensure Seamless Campaign Execution: Ensure key information is provided to the media operations and media buying teams throughout the campaign lifecycle to ensure flawless implementation of media plans.
  • Contribute to Campaign Strategy: Contribute to the overall campaign strategy and identify ways to improve and optimize campaign performance to meet client goals.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with creative agencies, traffic launch, and campaign delivery teams to ensure successful campaign execution.
  • Prepare Reporting Documentation: Assist with preparing reporting documentation for media planning teams and clients to demonstrate the strategy and rationale executed to deliver on campaign goals.
Requirements
  • Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma: Post-secondary degree or diploma in media, advertising, business administration, marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong MS Office Skills: Strong to advanced level MS Office skills, including Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP's), Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
  • Priority Management: Ability to manage multiple deliverables and work streams, with a strong aptitude for priority management.
  • Media Planning and Research Tools: Knowledge of media planning and research tools is considered a strong asset.
