About the Role

We're seeking a highly motivated and strategic thinker to join our team as an Analyst/Senior Analyst, Strategic Planning. In this dynamic and fast-paced role, you'll provide strategic and operational support to the Office of the President and the broader International Card Services (ICS) Canada business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide planning and coordination support to the ICS Leadership Team, including strategic business planning, project management, budget management, analytical support, and leadership of specific strategic initiatives.
  • Assist in managing key strategic processes, including ICS HQ-led initiatives, identifying key stakeholders, driving communications, and managing timelines to ensure timely and successful completion.
  • Support the annual strategic planning process, tracking key metrics and scorecards, and working closely with key stakeholder partner groups to align strategic priorities with financial expectations.
  • Facilitate the implementation of the team's strategy and long-range plan.
  • Manage a comprehensive colleague communication strategy, including town halls, All-Hands, business updates, and digital or written communications.
  • Support colleague engagement initiatives and represent ICS Canada on various committees, taskforces, and initiatives.

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter who can effectively multi-task and lead projects independently.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and experience in a strategic capacity are essential.
  • Flexibility, excellence in delivery, and absolute discretion are must-haves.
  • Exceptional financial acumen, problem-solving skills, analytical capabilities, and collaboration skills are required.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence both laterally and upwards across business units are necessary.
  • High-level business acumen, excellent strategic thinking, process management, and time management skills are required.
  • The ability to develop clear action plans and drive processes with numerous inter-dependencies is essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to synthesize and present materials effectively across multi-media channels, are required.
  • Proven experience in project management, the ability to set priorities, and manage tasks to drive results within short time frames are necessary.
  • An understanding of the Canadian FI environment and key critical compliance regulations that impact our industry is required.
  • Experience working with key stakeholders, including Legal, Compliance, Finance, Operational Excellence, HR, and Risk teams, to drive results is essential.
