Job Title: Restaurant Host/Hostess

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Restaurant Host/Hostess to join our team at Boston Pizza. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Train and supervise staff to ensure excellent customer service and a clean, welcoming environment.
  • Balance and deposit cash, manage reservations, and handle customer payments.
  • Liaise between chefs, customers, and other staff members to ensure smooth service.
  • Inspect dining rooms and food serving areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Answer customer questions about menu items and preparation methods.
  • Assist guests with special needs and ensure their comfort and satisfaction.
  • Attend to seating arrangements for large groups and ensure timely service.
  • Greet customers warmly and make them feel welcome.
  • Perform opening and closing activities, including setting up and cleaning the dining area.
Work Environment:

Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment where you will be standing for extended periods, walking, and working under pressure. You must be physically demanding and able to work in a team environment.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Will train on the job.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing situations.
