Role Summary:

As an RBC Investment and Retirement Planner in the Kitchener community, you will play a vital role in creating custom investment solutions for clients. You will work alongside internal partners to identify new opportunities, while also leveraging your own prospecting and networking skills to acquire and consolidate existing and new clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop tailored financial planning advice and solutions using RBC's extensive portfolio of investment and mutual fund products.
  • Promote RBC's services to existing and potential clients, with a focus on acquiring and consolidating assets.
  • Connect clients with relevant RBC team members to ensure their ongoing needs are met.
  • Establish strong relationships with external business referral sources through networking, marketing, and centres of influence.

Requirements:
  • Fundamental understanding of financial planning principles, including asset management and retirement planning.
  • Proven track record of successful client acquisition and relationship-building.
  • Able to navigate complex financial situations and provide expert guidance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Digital literacy and proficiency in utilizing mobile applications.
  • Fluency in English, with Mandarin language skills considered an asset.
