Key Responsibilities

  • Welcoming guests and handling their arrivals and departures
  • Booking guests into their rooms according to their reservations, requests, and availability
  • Providing guests with resort and facility information
  • Taking room reservations when needed
  • Performing cashier duties, processing payments, and foreign currency exchange
  • Handling telephone and fax messages for guests
  • Coordinating special services such as laundry, room service, and additional room inventory
  • Liaising and communicating effectively with operational departments
  • Developing strong working relationships with stakeholders
  • Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety regulations

Requirements

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Guest service experience
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Computer literacy in MS Office; Opera an asset
  • Front Desk experience an asset
  • Serving It Right Certification or ability to achieve
  • Ability to exceed customer expectations through timely, effective, and service-oriented communication
  • Commitment to increasing knowledge of products and services
