About the Role:

We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Senior Underwriter to join our Commercial Property & Casualty team in expanding business across the Prairies. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about building strong relationships and driving sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Business Development: Identify growth opportunities, develop new broker relationships, and craft strategic marketing plans to drive business expansion.
  • Relationship Building: Network with brokers, conduct regular marketing visits, and maintain strong, lasting relationships with broker clients.
  • Underwriting: Assess risks, negotiate terms, and ensure all policies meet compliance standards to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Collaboration: Partner with regional teams to expand a book of business across key markets, leveraging your expertise and knowledge of domestic and international markets.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Commercial Insurance, with a proven track record in underwriting and sales.
  • Strong knowledge of both domestic and international markets, as well as provincial licensing requirements.
  • Able to advance your career through in-house training, development programs, and management opportunities.

Compensation: The estimated annual salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
