Job Summary

">

As a Senior Commercial Insurance Account Manager, you will play a key role in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, discussing and reviewing their commercial insurance needs, and advising on the best products for their business. You will be responsible for managing an established book of accounts, collaborating with underwriters and internal teams to provide accurate and competitive insurance proposals, and developing sales strategies to drive growth and revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and grow the client base
  • Manage an established book of accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
  • Collaborate with underwriters and internal teams to ensure accurate and competitive insurance proposals are provided to clients
  • Negotiate renewals for existing customers and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Cross-sell to existing clients to increase revenue and grow the business
  • Work closely with producers to negotiate and secure the most appropriate carrier coverage based on client needs
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

">
  • Secondary School diploma required; General Insurance License Level 2 is mandatory; CAIB, CIP, CRM, and other related designations are an asset
  • A minimum of three years' experience in sales and service with commercial insurance lines of business is preferred
  • An above-average ability to work in a dynamic team atmosphere that fosters growth, inclusion, and success
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and adaptable at learning other industry applications
  • Strong customer service skills or related business experience is preferred
  • Availability to undergo credit and criminal checks

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, plus commission and bonus structure
