Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 per year, based on experience.
Job Description:
As a Claims Officer at Transport Laberge, you will be responsible for handling the entire claims process from opening to finality. This includes conducting investigations, gathering documents, and preparing reports for management review.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deal with daily complaints and concerns from customers and drivers
- Follow up on emails and respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner
- Process and analyze manufacturer complaints, including investigating events and completing inspection sheets
- Prepare various reports, such as weekly, monthly, and annual summaries
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders through our terminal system
- Ensure security protocols are followed within the company
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bilingualism (English and French, oral and written)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Customer service experience and excellent communication skills
- Experience in the transportation sector and familiarity with Magnus TMS software
- Analytical mind and good judgment, with the ability to work independently
