Emergency Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department. The successful candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, a passion for delivering high-quality patient care, and a commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
• Assess patients and collect information from a variety of sources to determine the best course of treatment.
• Collaborate with the interprofessional care team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and performing procedures as needed.
• Teach patients and families about their conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
• Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
• Completion of applicable post-graduate coursework in emergency nursing or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a dynamic environment.
