Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surgical Assistant Certified Float to join our team at Watson Clinic. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support during surgical procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.
  • Prepare and maintain the surgical site, including draping, positioning, and retracting tissues as needed.
  • Provide accurate and timely documentation of patient information and surgical procedures.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain current certifications and stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and best practices.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of OR technology or RN.
  • Two years experience in a surgical environment.
  • CST certification.
  • CPR certification within three months of employment.
  • Credentialing with LRH within six months of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a fast-paced surgical environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
