Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surgical Assistant Certified Float to join our team at Watson Clinic. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support during surgical procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures, maintaining aseptic technique and adhering to AORN guidelines.
  • Prepare and maintain the surgical site, including positioning patients, draping, and retracting tissues.
  • Assist with closure of incisions, suturing, and stapling, as well as other surgical duties as assigned by the supervising physician.
  • Perform medical office duties, including summoning and preparing patients for office visits, administering medication, and documenting patient information.
  • Maintain the integrity of the office and perform additional duties specific to the specialty.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of OR technology or RN.
  • Two years experience in a surgical environment.
  • CST certification.
  • CPR certification within three months of employment.
  • Credentialing with LRH within six months of employment.
