Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Surgical Technician to join our team at Watson Clinic. As a key member of the operating room team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for surgery by ensuring they are properly positioned and prepared for the procedure.
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures, including passing instruments and supplies.
  • Maintain a sterile environment and ensure that all equipment and supplies are properly cleaned and sterilized.
  • Count and verify surgical sponges, needles, and instruments to ensure accuracy and prevent errors.
  • Participate in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room, including setting up equipment and supplies.
  • Collaborate with other medical staff to ensure the smooth operation of surgical procedures.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Formal training as an O.R. Technician or equivalent experience required.
  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
