Job Summary

DiV Communications Ltd is seeking a skilled Telecommunication Line Technician to join our team. As a Telecommunication Line Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunication lines and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain aerial and underground telephone equipment, including cable signals and associated equipment.
  • Signal Inspection and Repair: Inspect and test cable signals and associated equipment to identify and repair faults.
  • Network Setup and Troubleshooting: Install trunking systems, circuits, and equipment, and test equipment to locate transmission faults.
  • Customer Service: Complete and maintain test and service reports, and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Technical Skills: Read blueprints to determine work requirements, and use technical skills to install and maintain telecommunication lines and equipment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Outdoors.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
