Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Line Technician to join our team at DiV Communications Ltd. As a Telecommunications Line Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment and networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test cable signals and associated equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Install and maintain aerial and underground telephone equipment, including cable modems and software
  • Read blueprints to determine work requirements and complete test and service reports
  • Repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers, and amplifiers
  • Test trunking systems and equipment to locate transmission faults
  • Install trunking systems, circuits, and equipment
  • Connect, disconnect, and relocate cable outlets
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in telecommunications
  • Ability to work outdoors and in a variety of weather conditions
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Work Environment

As a Telecommunications Line Technician, you will work outdoors and in a variety of weather conditions. You will be required to climb poles, work at heights, and navigate rough terrain.

Language and Hours

The work language is English, and the working hours are 35 to 40 hours per week.
