Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Line Technician to join our team at DiV Communications Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Cable Signals: Ensure that cable signals are functioning correctly and make repairs as needed.
  • Install and Maintain Aerial and Underground Equipment: Install and maintain telecommunications equipment, including aerial and underground cables, amplifiers, and power suppliers.
  • Read Blueprints: Read and interpret blueprints to determine work requirements and ensure that installations are completed correctly.
  • Repair and Replace Faulty Equipment: Repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers, and amplifiers to ensure that telecommunications services are not disrupted.
  • Complete Test and Service Reports: Complete and maintain accurate test and service reports to document work completed and ensure compliance with company standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in telecommunications or a related field.
  • Work Environment: Outdoors, with regular exposure to varying weather conditions.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
