Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Line Technician to join our team at DiV Communications Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment and networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test cable signals and associated equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Install and maintain aerial and underground telephone equipment, including cable modems and software.
  • Read blueprints to determine work requirements and complete test and service reports.
  • Repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers, and amplifiers.
  • Test trunking systems and equipment to locate transmission faults.
  • Install trunking systems, circuits, and equipment, and connect, disconnect, and relocate cable outlets.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in telecommunications.
  • Ability to work outdoors and in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
