Overview:

The Product Development Manager - Hardware role at 1Valet is a key position responsible for leading the development, launch, and ongoing optimization of hardware products. As an individual contributor, this role will have no direct reports; however, will have full support of a squad of engineers to help in execution.

About the Role:

  1. Develop and execute product roadmaps that align with company strategy and market opportunities.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify customer needs, competitive landscape, and emerging trends in hardware technologies.
  3. Prioritize features, functionalities, and product releases based on customer impact, business goals, and technical feasibility.
  4. Lead the product development process from concept through to launch and post-launch support.
  5. Define and track key performance metrics to evaluate the success of hardware products in the market.
  6. Gather and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders, and sales teams to iteratively improve the product.
  7. Ensure that the product adheres to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and certifications as needed.
  8. Work closely with engineering, design, and manufacturing teams to ensure successful development and delivery of hardware products.
  9. Facilitate communication and decision-making between various departments to resolve issues, manage trade-offs, and ensure timely product delivery.
