Family Medicine Physician

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Family Medicine Physician to join our collaborative team at the Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a Family Medicine Physician, you will provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages and stages of health or illness.
Our team is committed to delivering high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with other healthcare providers to achieve the best possible outcomes. We are looking for a physician who is passionate about providing patient-centered care and is committed to building strong relationships with our patients and their families.

Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages and stages of health or illness
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers to achieve the best possible outcomes
- Build strong relationships with patients and their families
- Participate in quality improvement and evaluation activities
- Utilize an electronic medical record (EMR) and record all relevant patient details
- Full-time or part-time
- Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS)
- Eligible for certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC)
- Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Life Support (BCLS)
- Cardiac Arrest and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CCrISP)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
