Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinate special events such as weddings, parties and corporate functions
  • Determine the size of food portions and costs to ensure profitability and efficiency
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements for realization
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain inventory levels
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standard
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met
  • Order supplies and equipment to maintain kitchen efficiency
  • Maintain accurate inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe working environment
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary of $60,000 per annum
  • 35 hours per week
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
