Job Summary

Ruth's VLT is seeking a skilled Server to join our team in providing exceptional food and beverage services to our customers. As a Server, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer experiences, ensuring timely and efficient service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Present menus and make recommendations to customers, answering questions about food and beverages.
    • Take orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff.
  • Food and Beverage Service
    • Prepare and serve specialty food at customers' tables.
    • Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit, or debit cards.
    • Describe menu items, including daily specials, to customers.
  • Table Maintenance
    • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
  • Wine and Beverage Knowledge
    • Describe and advise on wine selection to customers.
  • Teamwork
    • Assist clients/guests with special needs.
    • Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service.
Requirements
  • Education
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment with overtime required.
    • Standing for extended periods.
    • Work under pressure.
