Job Summary

Ruth`s VLT is seeking a skilled Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Present menus and make recommendations to customers, answering questions regarding food and beverages.
    • Describe menu items, including daily specials, to customers.
  • Food and Beverage Service
    • Prepare and serve specialty food at customers' tables.
    • Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff.
  • Table Management
    • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
    • Assist clients/guests with special needs.
  • Wine and Beverage Knowledge
    • Describe and advise on wine selection to customers.
  • Teamwork
    • Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service.
Work Environment

The Server will work in a fast-paced environment, with a high volume of customers. The ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude is essential.

Requirements
  • Education
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience
    • Will train.

Working Conditions

The Server will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel. Overtime may be required.

Work Hours

The Server will work 30 to 40 hours per week.
