Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced tax expert to lead our TurboTax Live team as a Tax Expert Manager. This role will involve providing leadership, performance management coaching, and growth and development insights to a team of frontline TurboTax Live Experts who provide tax advice and services to customers preparing their taxes with TurboTax Live.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Lead the team in delivering the highest quality service to TurboTax customers by onboarding, training, and managing the performance of Tax Experts and Tax Expert Leads.
  • Cultivate a High-Performance Culture: Create a high-performance culture that empowers Tax Experts to provide world-class service to our customers.
  • Drive Customer Satisfaction: Drive customer satisfaction through proactive and constructive engagement in a cross-functional team.
  • Foster Team Collaboration: Foster a team environment of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: 2+ years of experience managing and leading a remote customer-facing team or 2+ years of experience managing a team of tax preparation professionals.
  • Tax Knowledge: Extensive prior experience preparing individual returns for Canadian clients.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technical Skills: Highly technical and comfortable with Windows, Mac, and mobile platforms, as well as G-suite applications (Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.).
What We Offer
  • Competitive Salary: The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
  • Remote Work: This is a remote role, and no travel is required.
  • Bilingual Proficiency: Bilingual proficiency in English and French is considered a strong asset.
