About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Expert to join our team at Intello Technologies Inc. in Hamilton, Ontario.

This role will involve managing work requests from clients, ensuring accurate payroll processing for 4,000 employees, and coordinating with technical teams for completion.

Responsibilities include managing Collective Agreement renewals, preparing payroll journal entries, and reconciling year-end tax slips and government reporting.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of PeopleSoft or other payroll applications, Hospitals of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP), and best practices in HR and Payroll.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage work requests from clients to determine priority and implementation timelines
  • Ensure accurate payroll processing for 4,000 employees on PeopleSoft
  • Coordinate with technical teams for completion of tasks
  • Manage Collective Agreement renewals, including communications and updates
  • Prepare payroll journal entries and reconcile year-end tax slips and government reporting
  • Assist with WSIB Form 7 earnings reporting and maintain documentation regarding Payroll processes and controls

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Payroll roles
  • Degree or diploma in Human Resources
  • Successful completion of PCP certification is an asset
