Regional Sales Director Job Description

Mohawk is seeking a highly skilled Regional Sales Director to drive business growth and development in Canada.

This role is responsible for leading a team of sales professionals and developing targeted business strategies to achieve sales objectives.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the commercial sales environment and be able to effectively interact with internal and external customers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing business development strategies to achieve sales objectives
  • Leading a team of sales professionals to achieve sales results
  • Representing the commercial business unit and implementing trade activity calendars to exploit business opportunities
  • Ensuring sales activities comply with established policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Four-year college degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • ~5-7 or more years of related work experience and any combination of education and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • Knowledge of the terms, concepts, and practices of the marketing and sales environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of a company's diverse business and product lines

Travel up to 50% for trade shows, customer visitation, team meetings, etc.
