Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping
    • Accurately record and maintain financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
    • Ensure all financial records are up-to-date and compliant with accounting standards.
  • Financial Statement Preparation
    • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Ensure all financial statements are accurate and compliant with accounting standards.
  • Accounting Software Management
    • Manage and maintain accounting software, including QuickBooks and Simply Accounting.
    • Ensure all accounting software is up-to-date and compliant with accounting standards.
  • Tax Preparation
    • Prepare and review tax returns, including corporate and personal tax returns.
    • Ensure all tax returns are accurate and compliant with tax laws and regulations.
  • Reconciliation and Analysis
    • Reconcile accounts, including bank statements and credit card statements.
    • Perform financial analysis, including budgeting and forecasting.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Skills
    • Proficient in accounting software, including QuickBooks and Simply Accounting.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
