Job Title: Bookkeeper
At Seashell Professional Services Ltd, we are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and performing various accounting tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain Financial Records: Ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting documents.
- Prepare Financial Statements: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Perform Accounting Tasks: Perform various accounting tasks, including reconciliations, journal entries, and account analysis.
- Manage Accounts: Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing, payments, and reconciliations.
- Assist with Budgeting: Assist with budgeting and forecasting, including preparation of budget reports and variance analysis.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
LanguageThis is a permanent position with 32 to 40 hours per week. The language of work is English.
