Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Server to join our team at CB Canada. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take Food and Beverage Orders: Greet guests, take orders, and make recommendations to enhance their dining experience.
  • Serve Food and Beverages: Present dishes, pour beverages, and ensure guests' needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure Guest Satisfaction: Check on guests regularly, address any concerns, and make adjustments to ensure their satisfaction.
  • Inform Guests of Daily Specials: Share information about current promotions, menu items, and beverage offerings to enhance their experience.
  • Prepare Food and Beverages: Prepare simple food items, such as salads or sandwiches, and pour beverages as needed.
  • Present Bills and Process Payments: Accurately present bills, handle payments, and provide change as needed.
  • Remove Empty Glassware: Clear tables, remove empty glassware, and maintain a clean and organized dining area.
  • Cover Other Sections: Assist other servers, bussers, or hosts/hostesses as needed to ensure seamless service.
  • Liaise with Operational Departments: Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, management, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Comply with Regulations: Adhere to health and safety regulations, licensing laws, and other statutory requirements.
Requirements
  • Cash Handling Experience: Minimum 6 months of recent experience handling cash and providing customer service.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to interact with guests, colleagues, and management in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Multi-Tasking Ability: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing guest needs and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, move quickly, and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
