Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Server to join our team at Continental Seafood Restaurant. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food and Beverage Service
    • Prepare and serve specialty food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Present menus and make recommendations to customers, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
    • Take orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Customer Service
    • Greet customers warmly and make them feel welcome in our restaurant.
    • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
    • Provide information about menu items, including daily specials and promotions.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service and high-quality food and beverages.
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure smooth operations and address any concerns.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but relevant experience in the hospitality industry is an asset.
  • Language and Communication
    • Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in other languages is an asset.
  • Availability and Flexibility
    • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
    • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
