We're currently searching for a seasoned leader to join our leadership team as a General Manager for our Meet Edgar and Cross Sell teams. This role will be based in Canada, and we offer a remote-first work environment with an office space in downtown Victoria, BC, for those who prefer to work in an office setting.
Your Daily ChallengesAs a General Manager, you'll be responsible for leading business operations and growing a SaaS business. You'll need to use your prioritization skills and business acumen to develop and implement strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability. You'll be surrounded by a talented team who will support you in this role.
Your day-to-day activities will include:
- Leading the team and business in profitable growth, shaping and developing growing revenues and profits.
- Conducting market research to identify new business opportunities and understand market trends.
- Developing and implementing marketing-led growth strategies to achieve revenue targets and monitor performance.
- Developing strategies to engage clients, increase customer loyalty, and retain key accounts.
- Leading the ideation, planning, and implementation of new and long-term business growth strategies.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to set and drive overall business vision, strategy, and decision-making to achieve business goals and drive growth.
- Setting business goals and executing the achievement of KPIs for those goals.
- Managing budgets and forecasts and creating and deploying metrics to enforce operational efficiency.
- Monitoring expenses, implementing cost-saving measures, and managing efficient allocation of resources to ensure financial targets are met.
- Championing culture at the business unit to support organizational morale and momentum.
- Leading the people and resourcing strategy supported by other stakeholders.
- Regularly partnering and collaborating with the SureSwift Capital executive and corporate teams.
We're seeking a leader with operational knowledge and hands-on experience working in SaaS, with a proven track record in marketing. Ideal candidates will have:
- 3-5 years of experience in the tech industry.
- SaaS experience in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated success in creating and executing effective marketing strategies to drive brand growth and meet business objectives.
- Financial acumen with previous P&L ownership experience.
- Thorough understanding of metrics and people, and knowing you need both for success.
- Technical proficiency with the ability to lead product roadmap and growth.
- Ability to manage and mitigate risk.
- Understanding of how to lead in a remote environment.
This role offers a competitive compensation package, including:
