Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at 2531637 Ontario Inc. as a key member of our culinary operations.

Job Summary:

The Executive Chef will be responsible for leading our kitchen team in the preparation and presentation of high-quality meals, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and presentation.
  • Develop and implement menus, recipes, and cooking methods to meet customer preferences and dietary requirements.
  • Source and procure high-quality ingredients, supplies, and equipment to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
  • Monitor and control kitchen expenses, inventory, and labor costs to maintain profitability.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with culinary trends, techniques, and innovations to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads.
Working Conditions:

The Executive Chef will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with a high level of physical activity. The position requires standing for extended periods, lifting heavy loads, and working in a hot and humid environment.
