About the RoleThis exciting opportunity as a Veterinary Diagnostic Business Development Manager will play a key role in driving the growth and success of our business. As a member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our range of diagnostic services and products to veterinarians and animal hospitals.
You will work closely with our Equipment Specialists and regional teams to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to drive revenue growth. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues alike.
In this dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will need to be able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and deadlines. Your ability to analyze data and make informed decisions will be essential in identifying areas for growth and improvement.
Responsibilities- Create and implement territory coverage plans to optimize account coverage and promote sales growth.
- Conduct regular sales calls to promote and sell our diagnostic services and products to veterinarians and animal hospitals.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to co-promote our full portfolio of diagnostic services and products.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including negotiating contracts and agreements with customers.
- Analyze data and metrics to inform business decisions and identify areas for growth and improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Animal Health, Biological Sciences, Lab Sciences, or a related field.
- 3+ years of successful field sales experience, preferably in veterinary diagnostics.
- Demonstrable success in previous employment indicated by high levels of sales performance and closing deals.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with clients and colleagues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work well under time constraints and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 85% of the time within assigned territory.
We offer a competitive salary range of $72,000 - $95,000 annually, plus monthly and quarterly commission. You will also have access to a company vehicle and enjoy a comprehensive benefits package.
